Albemarle County, Virginia



Development Executive, Project Team Management, Design Coordination and Construction Management for the Unique New Urbanist Lifestyle Village that is central to the explosive growth of Albemarle County's Western Region. To facilitate the smart growth initiatives, this Lifestyle Urban Master Planned Development includes 1200 acres of interconnecting Villages, an Urban Club at the Old Trail Golf Facility, a 25-acre Mixed Use Village Center, over 9 miles of trails, 30 pocket parks, a 35-acre Regional County Park, 1500 uniquely designed SF Detached, Multi-Family, Villa's, Townhomes and Apartments. The entire community is nestled at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains were each of the 40 small neighborhoods were meticulously crafted to soften the density with carefully placed pocket parks, preserved Wooded Stream Buffers Private Pool Facility Community Amenities for social gathering/music/entertainment, shopping, dining and a robust and heavily used treelined streetscape.

Development Management, Design Coordination, Construction Management on this 25-acre Mixed-Use Village Center nestled in the Core of the Old Trail Village Center. Within the Village Center are several Mixed-Use Buildings lined along the Old Trail Drive Boulevard including over 350 Luxury Apartment Buildings with strict design control by DM Brock. Many of the Mixed-Use buildings include ground floor retail that is vital to the lifestyle uses including several Restaurants with streetside patios, Coffee Shop, Health and Fitness, Physical Therapy, Medical, Senior Living and Office spaces. This is all intertwined with a Mix of Townhomes, Villa Homes and Apartments developed and owned in conjunction with our client as well as strategic partners. The Village Center areas are all connected through Pedestrian Connectors and Plaza's where seasonal events are held. Future Uses are still in the planning stages that will continue to make this one of the Countries unique Urban Lifestyle Centers.

Development Management, Operations Management and Reposition of this unique Urban Village / Privately Held Golf Club at the heart of the Old Trail Village Community and at the foothills of the Shenandoah Valley just off the Historic Blue Ridge Parkway. The Clubs at Old Trail Village has grown as one of the premier Daily Fee Clubs that offers a wider range of lifestyle uses including a Championship 18-hole Golf Course, Indoor Golf Simulation Studio, a Private Pool Club nestled in the center of the Old Trail Village, Wedding/Event Banquet Hall, and Public Restaurant with Casual Fine Dining experience centered on an outdoor patio experience that features an outstanding view of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

KUMU HOU AT WAIKOLOA BEACH RESORT



Waikoloa, Hawaii



Development Advisory for Master Planning Coordination, Entitlement / Zoning, Concept Visualization on this Planned Resort Development phase of the Waikoloa Beach Resort on the Kohala Resort that includes resort hotels, two golf courses, condominiums, SF Detached resort homes and timeshare. The new development areas included 900 additional timeshare units, new MF Residential and 140 affordable workforce housing. The project is planned to replace 9 holes of golf and add over 3 acres of new parks, trails and improved beach access.


Development Client: Waikoloa Land Company in cooperation with JRP Pacific Holdings, PRB Hawaii and Lockard Creative for renderings, project management and design assistance.







JORDANELLE RIDGE COMMUNITY



Heber City, Utah



Development Advisory and Entitlement Role for this 8,000-acre new community. The initial planning was to Annex the project from Salt Lake City to Heber City and provide the infrastructure for major expansion to the Neighboring community of the Prestigeous Lake Jordanelle Recreation Area. The project was eventually sold to an investment conglomerate who is undertaking the full development including a new Tiger Woods Championship Golf Club. The plan has served as a framework of sensitive hillside development preserving the natural features of this site with incredible views to the Wasatch Mountain Range and just minutes from Park City and Deer Valley Ski Resorts.

WAIKOLOA VILLAGE LOT 4



Waikoloa, Hawaii



Development Advisory, Design Coordination and Feasibility Analysis for one of the last development parcels within the Waikoloa Village, just a short drive from the Waikoloa Beach Resort Village and other Island Resorts. This unique neighborhood is designed to have each lot nestled on its own perch of natural landform. Replicating the heritage of Island Hillside Ranchette's with each lot boast incredible long distant views of the Pacific Ocean just a few miles away.


Developer Client: Waikoloa Land Company and JRP Pacific Holdings. Site planning and rendering in cooperation with PBR Hawaii.
















LAKE LAS VEGAS RESORT COMMUNITY



Henderson, Nevada



Development Advisory, Design Coordination and Feasibility Analysis of two major phases (Falls and South Shore - shown above). This role was prior to assuming a full-time position as Executive Vice President Role assisting in Development / ARB Advisory position for the past 20 years. Located one mile from the shore of the Lake Mead Recreation area. Master Plan / Design Coordination working with Lockard Creative Studio to reposition the project for detached, middle and high-density housing on two major phases (Southshore shown above) of a 3,000-acre resort development with 3 Championship Golf courses and a 4th under design at the time of this effort. Centered on a 300-acre lake that has 2 luxury hotels and a lifestyle entertainment center at its core. Working with Nationally Acclaimed Builders on over 10,000 resort homes for primary and secondary living in a mix of Townhomes, Condominiums, Attached and Detached all nestled on the surrounding hillsides with site sensitive planning and design to preserve the natural terrain while capturing the distant views.

KIERLAND COMMONS



Scottsdale, Arizona



As a partner with EDAW, this award-winning project was completed while working for this international design / development firm. This mixed-use retail center has over 500,000 s.f. specialty retail and entertainment venues and 200,000 s.f. office over retail in this lush and unique site design. Center of this award-winning project is a 5-acre town center park for concerts, special events, interactive water feature. Tucked into the project is an 80-unit condominium loft over parking that includes a roof deck pool, outdoor grill/dining, fire pit and private courtyard overlooking the retail center.
